Multi-channel delivery — never miss a renewal

Slack Integration

Get contract renewal reminders delivered directly to your Slack channel — so your whole team sees them without checking email.

Webhook setup

Create a Slack incoming webhook, paste the URL into Vendorm8 settings. Takes under 2 minutes.

Channel delivery

Choose which Slack channel receives renewal reminders. Use a dedicated #vendor-renewals channel or your existing ops channel.

Test messages

Send a test notification to verify the connection works before any real reminders are sent.

Contract value included

Every Slack notification includes the contract value so your team knows exactly what is at stake.

Three channels, one goal: no missed renewals

Email notifications

Renewal reminders are sent directly to the contract owner and organization admins. Per-vendor recipient overrides let you route specific vendor reminders to the right people.

Slack notifications

When a Slack webhook is configured, every renewal reminder is also posted to your Slack channel — making renewals visible to the whole team in real time.

In-app notification bell

A notification bell in the Vendorm8 dashboard surfaces renewal alerts, contract status changes, and other important events without leaving the app.

AI assistant & API

Connect your AI assistant

Vendorm8 ships a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, so you can point Claude — or any MCP-capable assistant — straight at your vendor and contract data. Ask questions in plain language and let it do the busywork.

Ask in natural language

“Which contracts renew next quarter?”, “What's our annual spend by category?”, or “Add Acme as a new vendor.” The assistant reads and — with a write-scoped key — updates your data directly.

Scoped, safe API keys

Create organization-scoped keys in Settings → API. Read-only by default, read-write when you choose. The full key is shown once, stored only as a hash, and can be revoked instantly.

Connect in one command:

claude mcp add --transport http vendorm8 \
  https://api.vendorm8.com/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer vm8_your_key"

The same keys power a REST API for your own scripts and integrations.

Calendar feed

See renewals in your calendar

Generate a private calendar-feed URL in Settings → Reminders and subscribe from Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook. Every contract's renewal and cancel-by date shows up alongside your meetings — no extra app to check.

Standard iCal (.ics)

Works with any calendar app that supports subscriptions.

Auto-updating

Add or change a contract and your calendar reflects it on the next sync.

Private & revocable

A unique token per organization that you can regenerate at any time.
